Quarter Juice Productions started in 1999. Producer Ill Neil and lyricist/producer Lazo combined their musical equipment and produced a sound unmistakably unique. Quarter Juice had produced many underground albums in the city of Chicago selling beats and and bringing their act to the stage all over town. Ill Neil and Lazo built their street buzz in the early days through aggressive out of the trunk promotion, which has landed them a concrete presence as of today.
Quarter Juice has many elements, styles, and forms of attack on the production end. Ill Neil and Lazo offer a fearless, undisputed use of wordplay that could never be duplicated. Quarter Juice produced Chicago greats 3.R.D.D's underground classic "Sleepin on the Chi" album as well as Ill Neil "Survival of the Illest" album, and Lazo's "All In" album. Also producing with Quarter Juice R&B sensation Taurean, "The Greats" album. Ill Neil's has also produced for Chicago R&B songstress and writer Artesha, aka "The Queen of Hooks".
Quarter Juice continues to perform and sell beats all across the city of Chicago, and has recently started to move into video production as well. Quarter Juice Productions is a breath of fresh air to the music industry and are definetely an act to pay attention to.
